The Selectmen approved a temporary precinct change for voters this fall at the board’s Tuesday night meeting.

Voters in precincts four and five will vote at the Redmen Hall, 786 Main Street, instead of at the Decas School, for the September 1 State Primary Election and for the November 3 Presidential Election.

The change was made because the schools could not guarantee that the gymnasium will be free on those days. 

Due to the coronavirus pandemic and social distancing requirements, it is likely that the gym will be being used at least in part as classroom space to allow students to spread out within the building.
