Martha Jane Daffinee Ruest, 98, of Roseville, CA formerly of Wareham and Florida, died Monday, February 28, 2022 at her home. She was the wife of the late Joseph Ruest.

Born in New Bedford, she was the daughter of the late Manoah and Florence (Wade) Daffinee. Mrs. Ruest previously lived in Fairhaven and Wareham for many years before moving to Florida in 2007, then California in 2017. She was a homemaker.

Mrs. Ruest was a long-time member of the First Congregational Church in Wareham.

She is survived by her children, David Ruest of Vero Beach, FL, Daniel Ruest of Redding, CA, Nancy Pearson of Bucksport, ME, Judith Frailey of Roseville, CA and Doris Burns of Middleburg, FL; her brother, Robert Daffinee of Spring Hill, FL, seven grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. She was predeceased by her siblings, the late Richard Daffinee, Don Daffinee, Albert Daffinee and Ruth Nurse.

A graveside service will be held on Wed., March 16, 2022 at the Mass. National Cemetery, Bourne at 1:30 p.m.
