Wareham and Bourne detectives confiscated suspected fentanyl, pills, and over $500 in cash from the home of Michael Mello, 55, on Wednesday, March 20. The arrest follows a joint investigation between detectives from the two towns, who were assisted in the search by a Yarmouth detective and his drug dog.

Mello was charged with possession with intent to distribute a class A substance (fentanyl), and illegal possession of a class C drug and expected to appear in Wareham District Court on March 21.
