DPAW’s 5th Unleash the PAWsibilities Youth Creative Arts Contests’s Family Celebration was hosted by the Gleason Family on Aug. 18. Grants from Wareham Cultural Council & Community Events Committee funded additional easels & lamination of our growing gallery. Facchetti & Facchetti donated the trophies.  Visual & literary judges Anthi Frangiadis, Dianne Enzian, Jane Geason, Steve Rogers, Marcia Hickey & Mary Nyman determined our 2023 winners; Nathan Vasconcelos, Nova Lomp, Ava Ostiguy, Lydia Dutton, Gia Goodwin & Kailyn Ostiguy. Thanks to generosity of area businesses & organizations, the Prize Patrol Raffle covered every artist. Our 2023 Prize Patrol; Water Wizz of Cape Cod, Tina Jarvis, Jersey Mike’s, Rolling in the Dough, Hyline Cruises, Ryan’s Family Amusements, Perry’s Last Stand, Nemaskit Kayak Center, Marc Anthony’s Pizzeria, Nana’s Ice Cream, Staples, Cape Cod Coffee, Cape Cod Museum of Natural History, Kool Kone, Minkle Boys Catering, Gone Country Creamery, Guido’s Ice Cream & More, Onset Bay Center, Buttonwood Zoo, Onset Bay Association, The Art Farm & The Happy Zone.  Our collaborators Gleason Family Y, TD Bank, Wareham Free Library, Onset Bay Association, Wareham USPS & Wareham Pack Walkers ensured easy participation & a fun family event.  The Main Street Post Office now hosts the gallery thru noon Sept. 29.
