The ocean called Ken again and he returned to the calling where he worked on the scallop boats, the Courageous and the Endeavor. When his son Brian was born his love for his son pulled him away to be fully present in his life. Ken had his own boat built to fish local as he watched Brian grow and his career prospered. He returned to carpentry up to his last day here on earth where his master of carpentry skills will be treasured for many years to come, from Naushon Island to the mainland. He was loved and respected by many, with memories that will last a lifetime.
