Jeffrey S. Gomes, 66, of West Wareham passed away on Thursday, November 26, 2020, at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston. Jeffrey was the husband of Kay (Fernandes) Gomes also of West Wareham.  

Jeffrey was born in New Bedford, MA, the son of the late John J. and Justa (Pina) Gomes. He graduated from New Bedford High School as a member of the class of 1972. He was a Master Union Plumber with Local 51 serving Rhode and Southeast Massachusetts. He was a hard-working and humble family man who enjoyed traveling, listening to 70’s and 80’s music and especially spending time with his family.

Jeffery is also survived by his daughter Kristin Alves of Wareham. He was the loving Step-father of David Gomes of Carver, Brandy and Dr. Nilton Medina of Hanover, Taylor and Brandon Gomes of Wareham. He was the brother of Ronald Gomes and his life partner Larry Sinclair, Russell Getchell and his wife Yvette, Robert Gomes and his wife the late Kathryn Gomes. He was the proud and loving “Papa” of Dana, Kaylee, Darren, Kingston, Nilton and Kai. He was also survived by many loving relatives and friends. He was the brother of the late Laureen Gomes.
