I Howard Robertson, Jr.
It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of I Howard Robertson, Jr., on October 29, 2026, a truly special man who lived an incredibly full life. Born in 1938, he was a devoted husband, father, brother, grandfather, great grandfather, businessman, and friend to so many.
He leaves behind his beloved wife, Renate, his brother Scott, his three children, Steve, Susan, and Alison, and countless grandchildren who were so fortunate to have him in their lives.
He was a man who believed in family, hard work, and community. Alongside his brother, he founded two successful businesses in Wareham, Massachusetts, namely Robertson’s Auto Salvage and Robertson’s GMC Truck. His hard work, dedication, and entrepreneurial spirit helped make a lasting mark on the community he loved. He was proud to serve his country as a member of the Special Forces Airborne Division of the US Army stationed in Germany where he was awarded an achievement award for outstanding service. He carried that same strength, determination, and perseverance throughout his life. Outside of work and family, he was an avid sports fan, with a special love for hockey. He enjoyed life, was devoted to his family, made lasting friendships, and never lived a small life. He was one of a kind, and his presence will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. His legacy lives on through his family, the businesses he built, the friendships he made, and the community he helped shape.
Though our hearts are broken, we are grateful for the many memories, stories, and years we were blessed to share with him.
