A group from the Church in the Pines on 17 Carver Road in  are on a mission to travel to the Dominican Republic in August. But, they need help.

Leaders of the trip Nichole Mazzoli, Jenn Blake and Cheryl Souza have been hard at work planning fundraising events so members of the church can assist a summer bible school program in the Dominican Republic. 

Proceeds from a pancake breakfast and bake sale will go toward the trip located at the church on Saturday, April 26 at 9:30 a.m. 

Getting their hands dirty and cars clean — the church members have a car wash at the Wareham Fire Station Tuesday, May 13. 

And to kick off summer the church will be hosting an outdoor party on their property at 30 East Street in South Middleboro on Saturday, June 21. The event will include a concert, food and a silent auction.

More fundraisers are expected to come as the trip draws closer.
