Grumpy's Cranberry Harvest 5K Trail Run/Walk on Nov. 5

Aug 28, 2022

The 10th annual Grumpy’s Cranberry Harvest 5k Run/Walk has been scheduled for 9 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 5 at the A.D. Makepeace Company, 150 Tihonet Rd.

The course will wind around cranberry bogs, with the trail covering sand, stones, grass and asphalt surfaces. The run is named after a longtime A.D. Makepeace employee, Robert “Grumpy” Conway, who died in 2010. A display of his nature photography will be available for viewing after the race.

The run/walk will be followed by a cranberry feast with cranberry treats, lunch refreshments and an outdoor award reception. Entries received by Oct. 5 are guaranteed a 10th anniversary Grumpy’s 5k t-shirt.

Awards will be given to first, second and third winners in each age category for both men and women. No pets will be allowed at the event.
