Frank A. Lihzis, 70, of Wareham, died July 17, 2021 at Tobey Hospital. He was the husband of Jo-Anne (Woollam) Lihzis and the son of the late John Arvid and Frances (Aldred) Lihzis.

He was born in Everett and lived in Wareham for most of his life. 

Mr. Lihzis graduated from Wareham High School and Cape Cod Community College. 

Mr. Lihzis worked as a Receiver at Cape Cod Healthcare in Hyannis for many years before retiring. 

He was a member of St. Peter’s Episcopal Church-on-the-Canal in Buzzards Bay.  He enjoyed reading.

Survivors include his wife, Jo-Anne (Woollam) Lihzis; a son, Kenneth Lihzis of Buzzards Bay; a daughter, Stephanie Lihzis of Buzzards Bay; a brother, John Lihzis and his wife Karin of Mashpee and Royal Lihzis of CO; 2 brothers-in-law, James Woollam, Jr. and his wife Roseanne of Bourne and David Woollam and his wife, Janet of NH; several nephews and nieces. He was the brother of the late Ron Lihzis and son-in-law of the late James W. and Eleanor Woollam.

Visiting hours are from 5 to 7 p.m. on Friday, July 30, 2021 at Chapman Funerals & Cremations – Wareham, 2599 Cranberry Hwy., Wareham.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 31, 2021 at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church-on-the-Canal, 165 Main St., Buzzards Bay.
