Wareham’s elementary students made the most of their first week back in school full-time, five days a week.
On Monday, April 5, firefighter Dana Lofgren from the Wareham Fire Department visited John W. Decas Elementary School to talk with students about bicycle safety, according to a post on the department’s Facebook page.
Lofgren brought multiple helmet types with him — ones worn both at work while on duty and off duty.
He also fit each student individually for their own helmets to take home and use, according to the department.
