An egg-cellent program on oak galls

The Wareham Land Trust will host a free “Oak Galls Walk and Talk” Saturday, April 11, from 10 to 11:30 a at the Douglas S. Westgate Conservation Area, 29 Papermill Road.
The program, led by Plymouth County entomologist Blake Dinius, will explore oak galls and the insects that create them, highlighting their forms, functions and ecological roles.
Participants are encouraged to bring water and wear appropriate footwear for uneven ground. The walk will cover easy to moderate terrain along forest trails.
