Turning Point of Wareham, a nonprofit supporting the housing insecure and homeless, recently received a $7,350 donation from D and J Enterprise.

The funds were raised during the  landscaping company’s “Touch a Truck” event, which also provided an entertaining monster truck experience to attendees.

“You could say this is a ‘monster’ contribution,” Santos said, referring to the monster trucks on display at the event. “We especially appreciate that it is not only an effective fundraiser but also a fun event for the whole family.”

Tiffany Sergi, CEO of D and J Enterprise, presented the check to Turning Point Executive Director Shirley Santos and Board President Chuck McCullough.

"We are overwhelmed by the generosity of our neighbors, especially D and J Enterprise, who support us throughout the year in many ways," Santos said.

McCullough thanked D and J Enterprise for the amount of effort they put into the event.

“Funds will help this time of year especially, as we head into the cooler months and holidays,” McCullough said.
