DEBORAH LEE GONCALVES
April 13, 1955 – November 17, 2024

Deborah Lee Goncalves, 69, passed away on November 17, 2024, in San Francisco, CA.

Born in Wareham, MA, she was the loving daughter of the late Jennie (Barros) and Henrique J. Goncalves. Sr.

Deborah was a 1973 graduate of Wareham High School and received her associate in science degree in Business Administration from Johnson and Wales College/University. She later moved to San Francisco, CA where she worked for the Head Start Program, Pacific Stock Exchange, and for many years as a Multimedia Account Executive for the San Francisco Chronicle until her retirement.

She enjoyed travelling, music, joined a social club and did modeling shows, and was a big fan of her favorite sports teams: the NFL-San Francisco 49ers and NBA-Golden State Warriors. She was loved by family, many friends, co-workers and social clubmates. She always had a loving, caring, fun, smart and spirited personality, making sure things were right not just for herself but for so many. She will be missed and certainly never forgotten.

Survivors include her brother Henry J. Goncalves, Jr. and his wife Joy of Onset; her friend Howard Ware of San Francisco, CA; her nephews Nicholas and Henrique (Nunu) J. Goncalves; Aunt Mrs. Paula Barros of Wareham and several cousins; her great nieces and nephews: Devon Gaspee of New Bedford, Devaughn Anthony Goncalves-Barnett, Denarius Goncalves, Angelina Cooker and Audrina Goncalves and Octavia Goncalves all of Wareham.

Her Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday December 15th, 2024, 2-6 pm, VFW, 4 Gibbs Ball Park Road, Onset, MA 02558. Please Feel Free to Wear her Favorite Color-BLUE.
