Deborah “Debbie” Carrelli, age 72, of East Wareham died March 3, 2026 at home with her husband at her side.
Born in Worcester, MA, Debbie was a graduate of Burncoat Senior High School class of 1970. Debbie’s career was in the medical field as a business office manager as well as a dental hygienist, dental crown and bridge technician, certified phlebotomist, and respiratory technician.
Debbie was also a self-employed artist whose works sold in MA and RI, and as a poet had her work published in the National Library of Poetry. She was a member of the Board of Directors of the Wareham Historical Society as well as a docent for the Fearing Tavern.
Debbie was an avid gardener of fruits, vegetables, and flowers outdoors as well as indoors using hydroponics. She enjoyed cooking, flying, boating, and travel adventures in the US and Aruba.
Debbie is survived by her husband, Gerald Stefanski; her daughter, Kelli Durant and grandson Aiden of Fairhaven; brother and sister-in-law Paul and Dawn Carrelli of Shrewsbury; her nephew Christopher and wife Nicole of Auburn; and several uncles and cousins.
In lieu of flowers donations either to Southcoast Health at Home or Wareham Historical Society at PO Box 211 Wareham, MA 0257.
