Dragonflies, damselflies and spreadwings do more than just fly around and look pretty: They are a valuable part of any backyard ecosystem.
To learn more about the role that these skinny summer insects play in nature, visit the Wareham Free Library on Thursday, June 29 at 7 p.m. for a lecture hosted by the Wareham Land Trust.
Admission is free and no registration is required.
This program is part of Crawling with Fun, the Wareham Land Trust’s summer series of insect-themed events. It is sponsored by the Friends of the Wareham Free Library.
