The Council on Aging will be hiring a full-time director. Currently, the director is only a part-time position, but the retirement of a long-serving full-time employee has opened up some funding. That employee will be replaced with a part-time one, and the director will become full-time. The current director is expected to apply for the position.
Town Administrator Derek Sullivan said he thinks the change will be a boon to the agency.
