Nurses from Tobey Hospital, members of the Massachusetts Nurses Association,  and other community members will be holding a candlelight vigil to mourn Southcoast Hospital Group’s decision to close the Tobey Hospital Maternity Ward. 

The vigil will be held at 4 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 10, in front of the hospital at 43 High Street.

The unit will be closed on December 31.
