Bradford M. Morse, 91

WAREHAM – Bradford M. Morse, 91, of West Wareham, died on Friday, July 5, 2024 at Blair House of Milford.  He was the devoted husband of Viola C. (Langley) Morse.

Born in Framingham, he was the son of the late Harold C. & Edith M. (Mills) Morse of Medfield.  He graduated from Medfield High School, Class of 1951 and served four years in the U.S. Air Force.  Two of those years were overseas in Japan during the Korean War.

After his military service, Mr. Morse attended Lowell Tech. and graduated from Mass. Radio and TV in Boston.  Brad worked as an automotive warehouse salesman since the early 1960's.  His last position was with Quinsig Auto Warehouse in Worcester for 20 years, retiring in 1994.

Brad enjoyed spending time with family, fixing computers, watching documentaries, doing home improvement projects, and taking care of his cats. In his younger years he enjoyed boating on Lake Winnipesaukee in NH and traveling to Canada and Florida. He was a Mason and a member of Social Harmony Lodge in Wareham. Brad also volunteered at Tobey Hospital in Wareham for over 20 years.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Karen Urlage and her husband Mark of Laconia, NH, formerly of Hopkinton, MA, Douglas of Stow, and Kimberly Fitzgerald and her husband John of W. Roxbury; his stepchildren, Margaret Soderlund and her husband John of Norfolk, Marilyn Perkins and her husband Louis of Bridgewater, and Marie Thibodeau of Wareham; his grandchildren, Courtney, Amanda, Jessica, Benjamin, Andrew, Lindsey and Karly; his step-grandchildren, Christian, Renee, Stephanie, Hailey, Sabrina, Jason and Duane.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit on Monday, July 22, 2024 at Chapman Funerals & Cremations – Wareham, 2599 Cranberry Hwy. (Rt. 28), Wareham from 10 to 11 a.m. A memorial service will follow at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with interment in Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne.
