WAREHAM – Barbara K. Abbott, 62, of Wareham, passed away at home on August 29, 2023 after a long battle with cancer. She was the daughter of the late Carlton E. Abbott, Sr. and Sandra Rae (Libert) Abbott.

She was born in Warren, OH and lived in Wareham for many years.

Barbara enjoyed being a homemaker and spending time with family. She loved children and had run a day care while raising her children. She was an avid fan of the New England Patriots.

Survivors include her children, Jason Abbott of Wareham, Jayjuan Abbott of Worcester, Jessica Abbott of Wareham and Jay-cee Abbott of Wareham; her brothers and sisters, Carlton Abbott, Jr. of Belfast, ME, Michael Abbott and Darren Abbott both of Wareham, Nicole Gaucher of Lakeville, Anthony Abbott of Rochester, Christopher Abbott, Richard Abbott and Dales Holmes all of Wareham; her grandchildren, Jordell, Jaycelyn and Justice. She was the mother of the late Jayce Abbott and sister of the late Tammy Abbott, Dana Abbott, Stephen Abbott and Kimberly Abbott.

Services will be private.
