Join Erica Cirino, a photojournalist, scientist and artist, for a virtual discussion about her book, "Thicker Than Water: The Quest for Solutions to the Plastic Crisis.”

The event was made available for residents by the Wareham Free Library and was put together by the Ashland Public Library. The discussion will take place on Monday, Sept. 18 at 7 p.m.

As plastic pollution piles up, time to negotiate real solutions is running out, and meanwhile plastics’ impacts on the Earth and our health grows worse. 

Cirino will share facts and immediate action people can take to help communities and protect public health from plastics. 

Participants must pre-register for this Zoom event, which is available through the Wareham library’s website.
