Alice N. (Araujo) Sequeira, 80, of Wareham, passed away peacefully Oct. 19, 2020, at home. She was the wife of the late Lawrence Sequeira, Jr., and the daughter of the late Luciano and Olivia (Silva) Ramos. 

She was born in New Bedford and lived in Wareham for many years.

Mrs. Sequeira worked at Myles Standish State Forest for several years before retiring.

She enjoyed Bingo, being with family and walks. 

She was a member of the Red Hat Society, the Dudley Brown Ladies Auxiliary VFW in Onset and an honorary member of the Paralyzed Veterans of America. 

Survivors include a son, Lawrence Sequeira, III of New Bedford; four daughters, Natalie Sequeira of New Bedford, Debra Mendes of Onset, Lauriann Sequeira of Crestview, FL and Cynthia Tevenal of New Bedford; her brothers and sisters, Leonora Araujo, Mary Costa, Vivian Ramos, George Ramos, Joseph Ramos, Jr.; 13 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild; several nephews and nieces. She was the sister of the late Cynthia Ramos, James Ramos, Albert Araujo, Danny Araujo and John Baptista.   

Visiting hours are from 3 to 6 p.m. on Sunday Oct. 25, 2020, at the Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 2599 Cranberry Hwy., Wareham. (Appropriate COVID-19 protocol will be observed including the use of face masks, social distancing and wait times in line due to temporary limited capacity).

Her funeral is being held privately.
