MIDDLEBORO — Alice L. White, 93, of Middleboro died Thursday, June 8, 2023 at the Hannah B.G. Shaw Home after a long illness. She was the wife of the late James H. White.

Born in Lakeville, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Thelma (Baker) Murdock. She previously lived in Middleboro and lived briefly in Nova Scotia and Sacramento, CA
due to her husband’s military assignments. She returned to Middleboro in 1968 after his retirement from the military. She worked as a licensed practical nurse at Lakeville
Hospital, Oak Hill Nursing Home, and Hannah B.G. Shaw Home from where she retired after 30 years of service.

Mrs. White was a member of the Central Congregational Church in Middleboro, and enjoyed bowling, music, dancing, sewing, knitting and crochet, and travel. She also
played saxophone in her high school band.

Survivors include her children, Cynthia Brandolini of Wareham; Lauren White of Beaufort, S.C. and Steven White of Geneva, FL; her siblings, William Murdock of Plymouth and Lorraine Sampson of Lakeville; her grandchildren, Travis Bejin, Steven White, Jr., Matthew Howes, Brianna Ritter, Ian White, Theo Brandolini, and James Brandolini III; her great grandchildren, Cayden Brandolini, Charlotte Brandolini, and Emma Bejin.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit on Thursday, July 20, 2023 at Chapman Funerals & Cremations, Wareham, 2599 Cranberry Hwy. (Rt. 28), Wareham from 4 to 5:30 p.m.
A memorial service will follow at 5:30 p.m.
