Under the direction of Music Director Yaniv Dinur, internationally acclaimed percussionist Cynthia Yeh takes center stage in Avner Dorman’s 'Eternal Rhythm' (Percussion Concerto No. 2). Using eight different percussion instruments, Yeh unleashes a thrilling cascade of sound—thunderous strikes, shimmering textures, and relentless pulse. It’s music you don’t just hear—you feel it in your chest, in your breath, in your heartbeat. Bold. Visceral. Unforgettable.

After intermission, the orchestra turns to Charles Ives’ Symphony No. 2, a vibrant and deeply human portrait of the American spirit. Familiar hymn tunes, marching songs, and folk melodies weave through sweeping orchestral textures, creating music that feels nostalgic yet daringly new.
