Charles Henrey Croker III, 67
Aug 17, 2025
Charles Henrey Croker III, 67, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 12, 2025, in Montana, surrounded by his children. Though his heart remained with the tides of Buttermilk Bay, he found peace and purpose in the quiet beauty of Montana’s mountains.
Born October 15, 1957, in Brockton, MA, Charles grew up in Buzzards Bay, where his childhood unfolded in a home filled with bikes, boats, and barefoot summers. He carried those memories with him always.
A graduate of Southeastern Massachusetts University, Charles earned a degree in Business Management. A lifelong tinkerer and member of the International Society of Electronic Technicians, he had a passion for fixing things and a gift for turning the ordinary into something remarkable.
Later in life, Charles moved to Montana to be near his children and grandchildren. There, he embraced a slower pace, long walks under wide skies, and the joy of being “Papa” to five grandchildren. Montana brought him close to what mattered most—family, nature, and quiet days filled with meaning.
Charles is survived by his children Katelin (Jake), Daniel (Jennifer), his grandchildren, and siblings Danny, Brian, and Linda.
A private memorial will be held at Buttermilk Bay. Honor him by fixing something, spinning a record, or watching the Red Sox.
