Get your Boat America Safe Boating Course certificate as the United States Coast Guard hosts a one day safe boating course.

Members of the Coast Guard Auxiliary Flotilla 06-03 (Wareham/Onset/Marion) will give the “Boat America Safe Boating Course” being held Saturday, Nov. 2 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the West Wareham Fire Station #2 located at 2368 Cranberry Highway.

During the day long course, participants will get a lunch break and breaks in the morning and afternoon before taking the final exam to end the day.

Upon passing the exam, participants are given a Boat America Safe Boating Course certificate and a United States Coast Guard sticker to display on their boat.

Interaction with instructors will be conducted in an informal setting and marine insurance companies may also provide credit for the certificate, according to the USCG Auxiliary.
