The mystery book club at the Wareham Free Library has chosen ‘The Other Woman’ by Hank Phillippi Ryan as its selection for its Tuesday, July 16 meeting.

‘The Other Woman’ brings together Jane Rylan, a local newpaper reporter who begins to suspect a Senate candidate is hiding a secret mistress, and Jake Brogan, a detective on the hunt for a killer, according to the author’s webpage. As the body count rises and the election looms closer, Jane and Jake realize their cases are connected, and they may be facing a ruthless killer who will stop at nothing to silence a scandal.

Unless otherwise noted, all mystery book club meetings are held at the main library, 59 Marion Road, at 6 p.m. Copies of the book will be available at the library’s circulation desk.
