Wareham Middle School names October students of the month
Each month, Wareham Middle School recognizes an exceptional student in each grade.
For October, the fifth grader of the month is Savannah Tripp.
“Savannah is a curious, intrinsically motivated student who loves learning and embraces new academic challenges,” said one teacher. “She also is a kind person who advocates for herself and her classmates.”
Another teacher described Savannah as a “natural artist with a compassionate heart,” while a third said she is “always willing to lend a helping hand.”
Juliana Statkis is the sixth grade student of the month.
“She is quiet but approachable to students who may need help with something,” said one teacher. “She is a go-to resource for students and teachers. Juliana is simply a delight.”
One teacher praised Juliana as “one of the most ambitious students I have had,” and said she’s a team player.
“She is a student that consistently goes above and beyond and helps her fellow classmates to also be successful,” said another teacher. “She is caring, patient and dependent.”
The seventh grade student of the month is Giacomo Cappiello.
“Giacomo quietly goes above and beyond with all of his school work,” said one teacher, who described him as a role model for other students. “He is always respectful of his classmates and teachers.”
Another teacher said that Giacomo is polite, respectful, and a very conscientious student.
“He is an extremely hard-worker who not only always puts forth 100% effort, but also strives to improve,” said a teacher. “He is kind, respectful, and responsible. He is a pleasure to have in class.”
