A Wareham man led police on a car pursuit through parts of Onset and Wareham before being placed into custody Saturday, Feb. 1.

Lovell Johnson, 35, led police on a car pursuit after a Wareham police officer attempted to pull Johnson over on Minot Avenue.

According to police, they deployed a tire deflation device known as a stop stick to puncture Johnson's tires. Police then pursued Johnson on foot where he was placed into custody.

Johnson was charged with various motor vehicle violations and resisting arrest.

He will be arraigned at Wareham 4th District Court on Monday, Feb 3, 2025.
