29-year-old Ian Hill of Wareham forcibly entered a Woods at Wareham apartment Friday, Feb. 7 and stabbed a man inside.

Hill is being charged with home invasion and two counts of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.

The victim sustained serious but non-life threatening injuries and was brought to Tobey Hospital.

According to the Wareham Police Department, Hill fled the scene before police could arrive.

On Saturday, Feb. 8, police received a citizen tip on Hill's whereabouts and located him at the Woods at Wareham apartment building. He was placed into custody without incident.

Hill is being held on a $25,000 cash bail and will be arraigned on February 10, 2025, at Wareham 4th District Court.
