An afternoon of poetry and storytelling is coming to the First Congregational Church Sunday, Feb. 16 telling the history of the Wampanoag community.

The event will begin at 3 p.m. and feature scenes from the play "We Are the Land," a play produced by the Nutahkeemun Artist Collective to share the Wampanoag experience with others.

Those participating in the performance welcome the audience to join them in a discussion about the performance afterwards.

Admission is free but donations are welcome. All donations will go towards supporting the production of "We Are the Land."
