Learn to play bocce ball

Come and learn to play bocce.

Bocce ball will be in Onset every Monday and Thursday.

The courts are on the corner of CW Bishop Ave and Highland Ave.

All the supplies are provided and all skill levels are welcome.

The courts were purchased with a donation from the Salerno family.

Tuesday, Sept. 5

A seniors public safety meeting

TRIAD, a community public safety group, will join the Council on Aging’s Coffee & Conversation on the first Tuesday of every month at 9 a.m. in the Community Room/Gym at the Multi-Service Center.

The group is comprised of first responders, including local police and fire departments, the Plymouth Country Sheriff’s Office and Wareham Emergency Medical Services, as well as the Plymouth County District Attorney’s Office and Wareham Council on Aging.

Wednesday, Sept. 6

Ha-ha-namaste: Laughter yoga

Laughter truly is the best medicine.

Doug Savage will hold classes in laughter yoga, the practice of using controlled laughter to improve physical and mental wellness, at the First Congregational Church of Wareham, 11 Gibbs Ave. on Sept. 6, 13, 20 and 26 from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.

This activity is accessible for those with disabilities and people of all ages and experience levels.

Bring water, because laughing is a thirsty activity.

A $5 donation is requested.
