Live birds of prey will come to roost at the Wareham Free Library on Tuesday, June 27 at 1 p.m.

The program will be presented by Julie Anne Collier and Jim Parks of Wingmasters, a group which rescues, rehabilitates and shelters birds of prey.

The birds that cannot be released back into the wild are used for educational programs, such as the one at the library. 

Audiences will learn about New England’s birds of prey, their declining population and their uncertain future by seeing the endangered creatures up close. 

This free event is geared toward children ages 6 and up.
