Police arrest three sex offenders

A total of three people were arrested and charged with failing to register as sex offenders. The Wareham Police arrested them on Monday, August 5. 

At 1:45 p.m., John Candelora, 54, of no certain address, was arrested by Officer Susan Kucinski and a detective in the lobby of the station on a warrant for being a sex offender failing to register. 

At 2:15 p.m., Gregory Mattos, 32, of New Bedford, was arrested on Cranberry Highway by detectives for being a sex offender failing to register.

At 3:15 p.m., Jamal Guinyard, 33, of no certain address, was arrested by detectives at the police station for being a sex offender failing to register.

“If a person fails to properly register as a sex offender in Wareham our department will have zero tolerance for any violations of this law,” said Acting Chief John Walcek.
