Plenty of festive happenings planned for this Saturday, Dec. 4

There are a boatload of festive events planned in town for Saturday, Dec. 4, including the return of the Christmas parade.

Wesley United Methodist Church Fair
The Wesley United Methodist Church, 462 Main St., will be hosting a Christmas Fair from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The fair will include crafts, raffles, baked goods, and soup and chowder for lunch.

Toys for Tots collection
The Wareham Village Funeral Home will be hosting a Toys for Tots drop-off site from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Drop off new, unwrapped toys can be dropped off at 5 Center St.

Garden Club Holly Faire
The Wareham Garden Club’s annual Christmas Holly Faire will take place from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at St. Patrick’s Church Hall, located at 82 High St. in Wareham. The fair will feature traditional favorites, including member-made boxwood “trees;” live, decorated green wreaths; bundles of greens; centerpieces; outdoor decorated containers; a craft table and packaged baked goods.

Church of the Good Shepherd Fair
The annual Christmas Fair at the Church of The Good Shepherd, 74 High St., will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The fair will feature baked goods, a children’s gift room, crafts, gift baskets, jewelry, scarves, a spice table, used Christmas decorations and a raffle.

Library Holiday Fair
The Friends of the Wareham Free Library will host their annual holiday fair from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the library, 59 Marion Rd. The fair will include a holiday gift table, craft vendors, used books, raffles, and pre-packaged baked goods.

Stuff a bus
The Wareham Public Schools bus drivers will host their 5th annual Stuff-A-Bus drive to support Turning Point on Saturday, Dec. 4, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the parking lot on Main Street next to the Fire Station.
Donations of items including unwrapped toys, books, clothing, gift cards and non-perishable food will be accepted.

Wareham Village Christmas Parade
The Wareham Village Association’s Christmas parade will be held on Dec. 4 and start at 2 p.m. The route will begin at the High School before proceeding down to Main Street and ending in Besse Park.
