To the editor:

Recently, Wesley United Methodist changed its name to Trinity Christian Church. Our name tells who we are, a Spirit-led, Christ-centered church where people come to worship the Triune God. We believe in the Holy Bible as the literal authoritative inspired Word of God from which we receive instruction for daily living. We seek to live out the commandment to love God and love our neighbor in all that we do, say, and how we respond. We choose to live up to the expectations within the Word as fully as possible and teach others the way, through Bible study, worship, community outreach, and the other ministries we participate in. At Trinity Christian Church all people are welcome to come and worship and grow in faith of Jesus Christ.

We have chosen to join the Congregational Methodist Church and to remain faithful to our traditional understanding of scripture. As well, on April 14, Pastor Ginny Doran was ordained into the Congregational Methodist Church. Our worship service is at 10:30 on Sunday mornings and we continue to have our community breakfasts, dinners, fairs, etc. We look forward to having you stop in.
