In memory of their classmates who have passed away, the Wareham High School class of 1968 awarded scholarships to two recent graduates.

Emma Andrews, a nursing student who attends Umass Dartmouth’s, received the $500 scholarship as well as Madison Nerue who studies communications at Deans College.

“Both young women expressed their sincere gratitude for helping them pursue their educational goals,” a representative wrote in an email. “We wish them both all the best life has to offer.”
