Motorcycle rider pronounced dead at scene of crash
A 20-year-old Rochester man was pronounced dead at the scene of a motorcycle crash on March 4 near Patterson Brook Road on Cranberry Highway.
According to the police, the man was ejected from his motorcycle following an accident with a vehicle driven by a 67-year-old Northbridge man.
The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene of the crash, according to police.
The fire department, police and EMS arrived at the scene around 1:55 p.m. and found individuals described by police as “good samaritans” tending to the motorcycle rider.
The crash is currently being investigated by the Wareham Police Department, Massachusetts State Police detectives assigned to the Plymouth County District Attorney’s Office, and troopers assigned to the Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Section unit.
The crash is under investigation by the Massachusetts State Police and the Plymouth County District Attorney’s Office.
