Judith Anne (Glazer) Loud, 79, of Sagamore Beach, died Tuesday, November 30, 2021, at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center – Plymouth. She was the wife of Frederic A. Loud, Jr.

Born in Jamaica Plain, NY, she was the daughter of the late William and Violet (McKenzie) Glazer. Mrs. Loud previously lived in Dorchester before moving to Wareham where she graduated from Wareham High School, Class of 1960.

She worked as a lifeguard on Onset Beach during the 1960s, was a home health aide, and a bank teller for Falmouth National Bank. In addition to being a homemaker, Mrs. Loud was also the voice of Canal Lock and Safe, her husband’s locksmith service. She was also a longtime member of the Emmanuel Church of the Nazarene in Wareham and was one of the first members of the newly constructed church on Rogers Avenue.

Survivors include her husband, Frederic of Sagamore Beach; her children, Jean Potter and her husband Jim of Buzzards Bay, and Frederic A. Loud, III of Hampton, VA; her step-children, Melinda Waterfield and her husband Rick of SC, Douglas Loud and his wife Sharon of Plymouth, Russell Loud and his wife Dawn of Dennis, and Stacey Riley and her husband Richard of SC; her grandchildren, Austin Loud, Meganne Venezia and her husband Kayce, Jay Allison, Jacob Potter and Alyssa Potter; her sister-in-law, Roberta Glazer and brother-in-law, Donald Loud. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews, step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her sister, the late Jean Carson and her brother, the late George Glazer.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit on Sun., Dec. 5. 2021 at Chapman Funerals & Cremations – Wareham, 2599 Cranberry Hwy. (Rt. 28), Wareham from 2 – 5 PM. A funeral service will be held on Mon., Dec. 6 at the Emmanuel Church of the Nazarene, 6 Rogers Ave., Wareham at 11 AM. Interment will follow in Mass. National Cemetery, Bourne.
