Jifka FitzPatrick, 50

Feb 8, 2019

Jifka FitzPatrick, 50, a burn survivor, died of natural causes on Feb. 1 in Arlington. A summa cum laude graduate of Clark University, Jifka overcame much adversity, but continued to be a valued friend and mentor to those who knew her.

The joys of her life were her boys, sons Dylan and Trevor Kelly and their brother Partick of Brookline. She was very proud of them.

She also leaves behind her mother and stepfather, Elizabeth and Stephen Ford of Onset, her father Malcolm FitzPatrick of Randolph, Vermont, her brother and sister-in-law, Kirk and Heather FitzPatrick, of Westford, as well as many other relatives and friends.

A memorial service will be planned in Vermont in the spring. Donations in her name may be given to the Burn Survivors of New England or the Edinburg Center, a mental health support agency.
