The Wareham Fire Department has received an Assistance to Firefighters Grant, provided by the Federal Emergency Management Agency, to help replace aging equipment. 

As a result of the award, the Department was able to replace all aging nozzles, appliances and adapters, the Department announced. 

The grant required a ten percent funding match from the Wareham Fire District, which was provided for by voters at District Meeting.
