The Greater Attleboro Taunton Regional Transit Authority announced it will be offering Sunday Service across all of its fixed-route buses starting Monday, Feb. 5.

Sunday Service will mirror the existing Saturday Service and will be implemented on all fixed routes, including Americans with Disabilities Act complementary paratransit service. GATRA GO Coastline, Seacoast and United currently operate on Sundays as well. 

GATRA began offering Sunday Service on select routes in mid-October 2023. 

According to the company, numerous surveys identified access to services seven days a week as a top priority for riders. 

“GATRA is grateful to the local legislative delegation for their assistance in securing this additional funding. Sunday Service has long been a goal of the Advisory Board and it is exciting to see its implementation,” said Administrator Mary Ellen DeFrias. 

Updates will be made soon to the GATRA website and to printed schedules to reflect Sunday Service changes as well as other service changes effective Monday, Feb. 5. Visit www.gatra.org for more information and route-specific details.
