Applications are now being accepted by the Wareham Community Events Committee for events in Wareham and Onset for the 2024 season. 

All funding requests received by Monday, April 15 will be reviewed at the Committee’s April meeting. Submitting applications early is recommended, since applications will only be accepted until available funds are depleted. 

Guidelines for applying are available on the forms and departments page of the Wareham town website. Applications may be scanned and emailed to lindag381@verizon.net

The mission of the Wareham Community Events Committee is to support programs developed by non-profit or town sponsored organizations in promoting Wareham events. It provides funding for advertising in social media, radio, TV, posters, postage and T-shirts (printing and set-up only). This financial assistance is intended to help start and establish an event. 

Most events sponsored by non-profit/401C organizations may be eligible for event funding. These include: school plays, home shows, musicals, movies, dances and waterfront events. The Committee can also support local Wareham sports teams such as little league, football, softball and soccer.
