Funding available for community events

The Wareham Community Events Committee is now accepting funding applications for events for the 2025 season.

All funding requests must be submitted by Thursday, April 18, to be considered at the committee's April meeting. Applications will be accepted until available funds are depleted, and early submission is recommended.

Applications can be scanned and emailed to lindag381@verizon.net. Guidelines for applying are available on the Forms and Documents page of the Wareham town website or at the following link:

The Community Events Committee provides funding to support non-profit or town-sponsored events in Wareham by assisting with advertising costs, including social media, radio, television, posters, postage and T-shirt printing. The program is designed to help establish and promote community events.

Eligible events include school plays, home shows, musicals, movies, dances, waterfront activities and local sports team events such as Little League, football, softball, and soccer. Most events organized by non-profit, 501(c)(3), organizations may qualify for funding.
