December events at the Wareham Council on Aging

The Wareham Council on Aging will host several holiday-themed events during December. All activities will take place at the Council on Aging in the Multiservice Center, 48 Marion Road, unless otherwise noted.

Christmas Floral Arranging

Nancy from Wareham Florist will be bring in fresh flowers and containers to teach the art of flower arranging on Wednesday, Dec.12 at 1 p.m. Participants will bring home their own centerpiece to keep for themselves or to give as a gift. Interested participants must sign up by calling the Council on Aging at 508 291-3130. This workshop cost $15 to attend.

December Movie

The Council on Aging will host a free showing of the movie "White Christmas" on Dec. 15 at 1 p.m. Free popcorn will be provided. 

Christmas Dinner

On Thursday, Dec. 20 the Council on Aging will host a Christmas dinner at 11:3o a.m. with Carved Beef, Potatoes au Gratin, Green Beans Almandine and dessert. DJ Susan Pollard will be playing music during the event. To make reservations, call 508-291-3130 ext. 6514. A donation of $2.50 is suggested to attend.
