Curtis B. Chandler, Jr., 67, of E. Wareham, died Tuesday, July 16, 2019 at Wareham Healthcare after a brief illness.  He was the husband of the late Alice (Russell) Chandler.

Born in Wareham on April 28, 1952, he was the son of the late Janet (Maxim) and Curtis B. Chandler, Sr. Mr. Chandler worked as a painter for Lite Control for approximately 25 years.

Survivors include his children, Joyce Chandler-Arroyo and her husband Rolando and Eunice Chandler-Westgate, and her late husband Warren Westgate, Sr. all of New Bedford; his three sisters, Shirley Chandler-Russell and her husband George of Wareham, Beverly Chandler-Ortiz of New Bedford and Bonnie Alexander of Onset; his brother, Lawrence Chandler and his wife Fatima of E. Wareham; 6 grandchildren, Walter Rocha, Jr. of Wareham, Geoffrey Chandler, Manuel Monteiro, and Anthony Monteiro all of New Bedford, Natasha Campbell of Taunton, and Courtney Chandler of ME; 6 great grandchildren, Amara Chandler, Kayden Graham, Cullen Graham, Jason Campbell, Jr., Rhyleigh Mae Campbell and Calvin Chandler.  He was predeceased by his son, the late Curtis B. Chandler, III and his brother, the late Bartlett Alexander. 

Relatives and friends are invited to visit on Sat., July 20, 2019 at the Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 2599 Cranberry Hwy., (Rt. 28), Wareham from 9 to 10 AM.  A funeral service will follow at 10 AM. Interment will be in Center Cemetery, Wareham.
