WAREHAM – Courtney Allen Turner, 36, of Onset, passed away on June 28, 2023, at Tobey Hospital, Wareham. He was the son of Corinne A. (Andrews) Turner and the late Christopher Turner.

He was born in Alexandria, VA and lived in Onset for most of his life. He graduated from Wareham High School and attended N.E. Technical School in Providence, RI.

Courtney worked as a laborer for the Laborer’s Union, local 385.

He enjoyed electronics and playing football.

Survivors include his mother, Corinne A. (Andrews) Turner of Onset; his son, Courtney Allen Turner, Jr. of Onset; 2 brothers, Christopher Corey Turner and Chad Turner both of Onset; a sister, Tomeka Turner of Memphis, TN; several aunts and uncles including, Shelley Andrews, Kevin Andrews and Kelvin Andrews all of Onset; and several cousins.

Visiting hours are Friday July 7, 2023 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Chapman Funerals & Cremations, 2599 Cranberry Hwy., Wareham. A funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Wareham.
