The Council on Aging will be holding a Countryfest for seniors at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 12.

The festival will take place at the Wareham-New Bedford Elks Lodge at 2855 Cranberry Highway.

Admission is $5 and must be purchased in advance through the Council on Aging. Ticket sales end Wednesday, Oct. 4.

There will be live music by Bernie Allain, line dance instruction by Marge Blinstrub and a country hoedown luncheon.

This event is sponsored by the Wareham-New Bedford Elks Lodge as well as support in part by the Wareham Cultural Council.
