Community Events Committee now accepting funding applications

Applications are now being accepted by the Wareham Community Events Committee (CEC) for events in Wareham and Onset for the 2024 season.

Funding requests are due by Monday, April 15 and will be then reviewed by the committee. Submitting applications early is recommended as they will only be accepted until available funds are depleted.

The mission of the Wareham Community Events Committee (CEC) is to support programs developed by non-profit or town sponsored organizations in promoting Wareham events by providing funding for advertising in social media, radio, TV, posters, postage, T shirts (printing and set up only.)  This financial assistance is intended to help start and establish an event.

Most events sponsored by non-profit/401C organizations may be eligible for event funding. These include school plays, home shows, musicals, movies, dances and waterfront events. The committee can also support local Wareham sports teams (boys and girls), such as little league, football, softball and soccer.
