Cindi Veverka (Semple) 66 of Onset, formerly of Sarasota Fl passed away peacefully on June 20, 2023 at home after a courageous battle with cancer.

Born in Wareham to the late Charles and Gwendolyn Semple of Onset. Number 8 out of 14 children. She graduated from Wareham High School in 1975. Cindi moved to Sarasota in 1988, where she worked as a waitress . Recently celebrating 20 years at Der Dutchman. She met and married the love of her life, Daniel Veverka there.

She enjoyed spending time with family, friends and her beloved dog Jax. She loved returning to Onset as often as she could.

She is survived by her sisters and brothers, Cheryl Fisher of Onset, Michele Semple of Wareham, Charles(Chip) Semple and his wife Cindy of Rochester, Nancy Burke of Wareham, Patti McElroy of Northampton, Kathi Semple of Onset, Kevin Semple of San Diego, CA., Kimberly Tribou of East Wareham, Kelli Semple of East Wareham, Kerry (Jay) Semple and his wife Kate of Buzzards Bay and many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, great-great nieces and many, many friends. As well as her beloved dog Jax whom she loved with her whole heart. She was predeceased by her husband and her brothers Timothy, Philip and Tracy.

She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Per Cindi's wishes there will be no services. She enjoyed spending her final days surrounded by all who loved her. There will be a Celebration of Life at a later date.
